Reverse domain name hijacking (RDNH)
What is reverse domain name hijacking?
Filing a UDRP complaint in bad faith, to take a domain from someone who has a genuine right to it, can get a complainant branded a reverse domain name hijacker. In Smart Design LLC v. Carolyn Hughes, D2000-0993 (WIPO, 2000), the panel dismissed the complaint and called it 'a clear abuse of the Policy.'
